Correction from this afternoons post. Seniors who go to Boces or New Visions in the am should report there. Bus leaves at 7:20 am. Juniors attending boces come to BMC first for classes in the am and then will attend boces in the afternoon. Sorry for the confusion. Mrs. Lynch

Welcome to the 24-25 school year: BOCES/New Visions Students: Please report to the North Franklin Education Center on Thursday 9/5 for your programming. For those riding the bus it will leave Brushton-Moira at 7:20 AM, so make sure to arrive on time. Upon your return to Brushton, you will receive your schedules and school supplies (if you did not make it to the Back to School event). We will be handing out schedules at the door, starting at 8:00 am for our 7-12 students at BMC all day. Students who did not receive their school supplies will be able to get them at this time as well. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. Mrs. Lynch and Mr. Gordon

Early Dismissal - Students in grades PK-6 will be dismissed at 1:00 pm on Thursday and Friday, September 5, and 6, 2024. We will resume our regular schedule on Monday, September 9, 2024.

Good afternoon, We have multiple ways to request schedule changes for adding or dropping courses for 7-12th grade for the 24-25 school year: 1. Email jlynch@bmcsd.org and I will make sure the counselor sees it. 3. Schedule an appt with the guidance secretary for Mon - Wed next week from 8-1:30 pm.

Pre-K and Kindergarten students & families are invited to meet their teachers and visit their classrooms on Tuesday, September 3rd from 4:30-5:30pm. We ask that they please bring in any school supplies with them on the 3rd to lighten their child's load on the first day of school. Remember, any supplies that were not picked up at the district supply event will be in your child's classroom. We can't wait to see you!

7-12th grade schedules are now open in school tool. Students will receive their paper schedule the first day of school. Please see the back to school letter that is attached. Also, the handbook and some back to school paperwork is available on the the high school website as well. All students enrolled at Brushton-Moira Central School are once again eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2024-2025 school year. We are requesting that all families complete a Household Income Eligibility Form. It is important for EVERY family to fill out this form because doing so helps bring much-needed additional money and services directly to our school! It also determines if your child will qualify for other benefits such as reduced fees for SAT and ACT tests, reduced college applications fees as well as other potential non-school related benefits such as summer EBT benefits. We will not be administering the Earth Science Regents in August as we have not done the lab portion of the exam. Students will have the opportunity to retake in January 2025.

The 2024-2025 Master Calendar is now available. The Calendar is expected to be mailed out next week.
