Sunrise Summer was put out on our Story Trail early Saturday morning and will be on the trail until this Friday! This is the story of a young girl who travels with her family to Alaska each summer for commercial salmon fishing. The story follows along on her adventures on her first summer of being allowed to be part of the fishing crew. Written and illustrated by a husband and wife team who live this experience each year, this book is a behind the scenes look at a family working together, experiencing nature in an incredible place, and growing up.

Read this story as you follow the story trail outside the school. Remember, it starts to the left of the new playground.
