At 11:55 a.m., Brushton-Moira Central School went into a brief shelter-in-place out of caution while we assisted a student. Classes continued as normal, and at no time were students in danger. The shelter-in-place was lifted at 12:03 p.m., and everything is back to normal. The students and staff did a great job, and we appreciate everyone's patience.

Good afternoon,
I hope everyone had a restful summer and is ready to head into a new school year. All students in grades 7–12 will receive their schedules when they arrive at school tomorrow. Students in grades 7–9 will be in the west cafeteria, and students in grades 10–12 will be in the east cafeteria. All students should place their items in their regular lockers and then report to homeroom. We will be calling students down one grade level at a time after the morning announcements to review the cell phone procedures.
AM BOCES, New Visions students, and all-day Torch in-person students should report directly to their programs tomorrow. We do have a bus that transports from school to NFEC for anyone who needs it. Those students should ride the elementary run to school and then transfer to the bus that goes out to NFEC.
See you in the morning,
Mrs. Lynch
