At 11:15 AM today, BMCSD implemented a hold in place due to a staff member needing medical attention. All students and staff remained in their locations under adult supervision until approximately 11:20 AM, when the hold in place was lifted.
A hold in place keeps students in one location with an adult and limits movement in the hallways. It is a temporary safety procedure that allows medical attention to be provided without disruption. Everyone did a great job, and we appreciate their patience.

Thank you to TruNorthern FCU for their constant unwavering and immeasurable support of BMC and Community Schools! Their support provided therapeutic, weighted Comfort Bears for students who suffer from loss, trauma and anxiety in our school. We are so grateful for them! We also want to give a huge thank you to Beverly King, Comfort Cubs advocate, for helping BMC acquire these beautiful bears.
