Journalism students are proud to present "Panther Press, Vol. 1, No. 1." Read their articles to learn about the new assistant principal, events like the "Big Apple Crunch," the new advisory period, and student community service opportunities.

Last week the school-wide positivity trait was "bravery." After finding out that many students become nervous when talking in front of people, Mrs. Durant's 7th-grade advisory group faced their fears by reading to some of our BMC Pre-K and Kindergarten students in Mrs. Fregoe's, Mrs. Southworth's and Ms. Inman's classes.
Way to be brave, Panthers!

Our Story Trail has The Ox-Cart Man by Donald Hall this week! This is a nostalgic classic that looks at a small family farm and and the self-sufficiency the farmer and his family have in this lifestyle. It is also a book that highlights how simple our needs are, a timely reminder in this season of gratitude and Thanksgiving. This book will be on the trail until November 20th.

Don't forget to set up your student's eWallet account for cashless, stress-less shopping. Watch this video to learn more!

The BMC Advisory groups are looking for pumpkins for a decorating contest. If anyone is interested in donating a pumpkin or two, we are looking for each to be approximately the size of a basketball. We will need about 40 of them to accommodate each of our Advisory groups. Each group will decorate their pumpkin according to the contest rules and a winner will be declared once voted upon by the student body. Pumpkins can be dropped off by the BMC Shop Doors, #13. If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Lynch, High School Principal. Thank you!
