We are proud to partner with Dollar General through their Summer Reading Literacy Grant to bring opportunities for literacy to our community this summer! We will be using these funds in a few different ways to encourage students and families to engage with books and literacy through the summer.
We will be purchasing new books that students can choose from to take home and keep at the end of the year (book ownership has shown to increase literacy skills), creating library story hours throughout the summer, and creating a story trail on our newly completed school trail.
