cmartin@bmcsd.orgIf you have concerns that your child may have an unidentified disability, the first step is to speak to the classroom teacher(s) and/or administrator at the building where the student is located. There is a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process in place in each building. This is state required research based academic intervention for struggling students. It is the District's goal to resolve as many concerns as possible through the use of this process before referring a student for special education services. If it is determined that a student qualifies for services, the district will do so in the least restrictive environment.
