Online Instruction

Online Home instruction

Dear Families,

What a unique time we are in. We recognize how incredibly difficult this situation is for many families. Brushton-Moira Central School is working very hard to ensure that your children will have access to the material needed to continue their education at home. Your child's teacher will be contacting you throughout this process to help with your child's learning. Each teacher will place their lesson plans on this website and through either Google Classroom and/or Class Dojo.

This newsletter page will serve as our "Landing Site." This page will be used as a place where you can access all of the instructional activities. Each button below is designated by grade-level and will bring you to a Google document with your child's teacher's lesson plans for that week. Every Friday the week's lesson plans will be printed and archived in case you need them after the new week's lessons are updated.

We know there is a lot going on for families right now and recognize the difficulty this situation brings to every household. Our goal is to provide you with resources and assignments to keep your children actively learning and prevent regression while school is closed. Please understand these lessons are created by your child's teacher to complete and return via digital copy or when school is back in session.

If your child is struggling or getting frustrated with their daily assignments, please contact your teacher via e-mail or their online platform so they can help with this transition. Teachers are still working every day and available to answer questions and concerns when they occur. This is a learning process for everyone and want to give the best instruction possible without being in the classroom.

If your child receives additional services, such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, or counseling, we are currently looking into the options available for them at this time. Please continue to check this page in order to see updates and new resources that can be done at home.

We appreciate your help during this process. Once again, please feel free to reach out to any of our staff members through e-mail if you have any questions or concerns along the way.

Best Regards,

Brushton-Moira Central School
