A message from Todd LaPage, Superintendent of Schools
We are joining with many other area school districts and closing our building for students effective, Monday March 16 through the remainder of the academic year. Although the building may be closed, school is still in session.
Given that this is a rapidly evolving public health issue, we feel closing school is the most proactive and prudent action available to us. This closure is designed to help limit the spread of illness.
We will provide information on how we will continue to support instruction and meals during this time of closures. Please continue to check our website and facebook page for up to date district information.
In the end, it will be impossible to know if we overreacted or did too much, but it will be QUITE apparent if we under reacted, or did too little.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we deal with this challenging situation.
