A message from Todd LaPage, Superintendent of Schools

At this time, there are no confirmed cases of coronavirus in our county. However, with support from Franklin County Public Health Department and Franklin County declaration of a State of Emergency. We are joining with many other area school districts and cancelling classes for students effective, Monday March 16- April 19, 2020. School will resume on April 20th.

Given that this is a rapidly evolving public health issue, we feel closing school is the most proactive and prudent action available to us. This closure is designed to help limit the spread of illness.

We will provide information on how we support instruction and meals during this time of closures.

All employees are to report to work Monday and Tuesday and follow your regularly scheduled hours. Please check your e-mail today for additional information.

In the end, it will be impossible to know if we overreacted or did too much, but it will be QUITE apparent if we under reacted, or did too little.
