ATTENDANCE |
| “Miss School – Miss Out” has been a familiar school theme. Buses begin unloading at 7:30 a.m. for students to enter the cafeteria and/or eat their breakfast. Students should not be dropped off before 7:30 a.m. All students must be in their classrooms by 8:00 a.m. in order to be on time. Students are dismissed at 1:55 p.m. Academic Intervention Services for some students are offered until 3:00 p.m., when students will ride that bus home. Those students waiting to be picked up by parents must be signed out at the Gatekeeper’s Office located at Door #3. Any change in bus drop-off or pick-ups must be made in writing to the office. Instruction missed because of an absence can never be completely made up, but if your child is absent, please call to arrange a time to pick up homework. Upon their return, it is required that they present a written and signed excuse from the parent or guardian for each absence. A student absent from school may not participate in any school activity on that day. |

| In case of inclement weather, radio station WICY 1490, WPTZ Channel 5 and News 10 Now will carry an announcement of school closings or early dismissals. |
